Notice Regarding Update to Operating Hours - Jordan River Border Crossing Passenger Terminal. 

In accordance with a request from the management of the Jordanian terminal, during the month of Ramadan the operating hours of the passenger terminal at the Jordan River Border Crossing will be reduced.

The updated operating hours will be effective from 19 February 2026 through 18 March 2026, as follows:

Sunday-Thursday:

The terminal will operate between 08:30-17:00,

Last passenger acceptance: 15:30

Friday:

The terminal will operate between 08:30-16:00,

Last passenger acceptance: 14:30.

Saturday:

The terminal is closed.

Please note that cargo terminal operating hours remain unchanged.

New Guidelines for Departing Israel to Jordan or Egypt with a Private Vehicle

For departure from Israel to Jordan or Egypt with a private vehicle, a vehicle registration license translated into English must be presented.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, as of 01 March 2026, travelers must arrive at the border crossing with a vehicle registration license that has been translated in advance (prior to arrival).

It is emphasized that as of this date, vehicle license translation services will no longer be provided at the following border crossings:

• Yitzhak Rabin Border Crossing
• Menachem Begin (Taba) Border Crossing
• Jordan River Border Crossing

Vehicle license translation services are available at 64 authorized photo stations nationwide, providing the service on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety.

On the following dates, the Jordan River border crossing will close at 16:00, and passengers will be admitted for crossing up to 14:30 at the latest:

November 21, 2023 – Tuesday.

December 12, 2023 – Tuesday.

January 2, 2024 – Tuesday.
