• Do Israeli travelers returning to Israel need to pay a fee at land border crossings upon entry into the country?

  Upon entering Israel, within the Israeli land border crossing, there is no need to pay a fee.

  (A fee is required only when exiting Israel through a land border crossing.)

• Allenby Border Crossing – Notices and Updates

  Notice to Passengers,
  
  Effective Sunday, 26 July 2026, and on Sundays and Thursdays only, the operating hours of the Inbound Passenger Hall at the Allenby Border Crossing will be extended for passengers entering Israel only. The Inbound Passenger Hall will operate from 08:00 to 18:30.
  
  The Outbound Passenger Hall will continue to operate as usual from 08:00 to 17:00.
  Operating hours of the Passenger Hall during the rest of the week:
  Monday-Wednesday: 08:00-17:00
  Friday: 08:00-15:30
  Saturday: The border crossing is closed.
  
  Passengers are requested to arrive approximately 3 hours before the closing time of the border crossing.
  Palestinian passengers arriving by bus only are requested to arrive 2.5 hours before the closing time of the border crossing.
