Fridays and Saturdays: the cargo terminal is closed.
The cargo terminal is operated by N. Jan, who provides all types of transport services for the crossing, containers, goods packaged on pallets, bulk goods and special equipment.
Coordination of cargo transfer is conducted via the customs brokerage offices.
Cargo transport methods used at the terminal:
Door-to-Door (DTD), Back-to-Back (BTB), Transit.
The method of cargo transport is determined by the terminal administration and the terminal’s customs administration.

Cargo exported Back-to-Back (BTB):
1. The customs broker is to submit the documents to the customs representative up to 24 hours in advance.
2. Pending approval of the application, it is to be entered into the daily work plan.
3. At 16:00 – the work plan for the next day is to be publicized.
4. The customs broker is to relay the list of numbers of Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan, for the purpose of loading the goods.
5. The arrival of Israeli and Jordanian trucks at the appointed time – is under the responsibility of the customs broker.
Cargo exported Door-to-Door (DTD):
1. The customs broker is to submit the documents to the customs representative up to 24 hours in advance.
2. Pending approval of the application, it is to be entered into the daily work plan.
3. At 16:00 – the work plan for the next day is to be publicized.
4. Trucks are to be brought into the terminal following inspections by customs and receiving an approval to depart to Jordan (the driver is exempt from the toll).
5. The Israeli trucks are to return in accordance with the terminal’s operating hours.
Import of cargo:
1. The customs broker is to contact and file an application via the “Global Gate” system to the customs representative, subject to approval by the IAA, up to 24 hours in advance.
2. Pending approval of the application, it is to be entered into the daily work plan.
3. At 16:00 – the work plan for the next day is to be publicized.
4. Relaying the list of numbers of Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan to unload the goods, and the anticipated time of arrival of the Israeli and Jordanian trucks – is under the responsibility of the customs broker.
5. The goods are to be inspected by customs.
6. The goods are to be released and loaded onto an Israeli truck.
Transit:
1. The customs broker is to submit the documents to the customs representative up to 24 hours in advance.
2. Pending approval of the application, it is to be entered into the daily work plan.
3. At 16:00 – the work plan for the next day is to be publicized.
4. Relaying the list of numbers of Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan to load or unload goods, and the anticipated time of arrival of the Israeli and Jordanian trucks – is under the responsibility of the customs broker.
5. Containers are to be transferred from Jordanian trucks to Israeli ones.
6. Release from customs via the “Global Gate” system.
7. Departure via an escort convoy of up to 10 trucks to the port, or the single departure of a driver with a security clearance by customs.
Additional rates:
A bus ticket from the Israeli terminal to the Jordanian terminal – NIS 5. NIS 2.5 for a passenger who is a senior citizen (upon presenting a certificate).
