Accompaniment and Assistance

The Airports Authority is responsible for providing physical infrastructure for the activity of the service providers for assisted passengers, in accordance with the law.

The service includes accompanying and assisting assisted passengers during the “passenger process”.

The passenger terminal is accessible and adapted to assisted passengers, including marking designated parking spaces, handicapped bathrooms, accessible benches and waiting area.

The passages in the terminal have been expanded and traffic through them is continuous and comfortable.

Wheelchairs are at the disposal of assisted passengers free of charge.

  • In accordance with the law, inspiration loop assistance systems have been installed on some of the service counters for people with hearing difficulties.

    Terminal management has installed these systems at  designated stations on some of the service counters; the incoming luggage deposit station, passport control, Milgam – financial services and incoming customs station.

    Every station featuring an inspiration loop is marked with accepted signage.
