How to pass over in Passover

  1. Check-in

    We recommend that you check in from home and bring your boarding pass with you to the airport.

    You are advised to check in on the website of the airline you’re flying with.

    Self-service check-in kiosks

    A self-service check-in kiosk is available for passengers flying with El Al airline.

    Passengers must check in at the self-service check-in kiosk. Once the check-in process is completed, the passengers will be issued a printout of the boarding pass and of the luggage tags to be pasted on the checked luggage.

    Passengers must then go through security screening on a designated line and check their luggage at a special counter designated for passengers using the self-service check-in kiosk.

  1. Passengers flying with only carry-on luggage are requested to proceed directly to Sector W, bearing their boarding pass

     

    Passengers flying from Terminal 3 with only carry-on luggage who checked in online via Web Check-In and hold a boarding pass either in printout form or on their mobile phone may go through the designated security checkpoint zone– ZONE W.

    For passengers proceeding through this sector, their other required travel documents will be inspected at the boarding gate by the airline.

    Please note that the capacity of the storage compartments in the plane’s passenger cabin is limited. When the storage compartments are full, you will be required to check your hand luggage at the boarding gate for delivery to the cargo hold. For your convenience, please make sure that the checked luggage does not contain valuables, travel documents, medication, a passport or electronic devices.

    Please note: Some airlines do not allow web check-in or do not issue boarding passes. Passengers with such airlines will go through the ordinary security checkpoint sector assigned to their airline.

    Please make sure you have not left any ammunition in your bag.

    Please be mindful of the contents of your carry-on luggage and, before you arrive at the airport, make sure you have not left firearm magazines, ammunition or a handgun in your carry-on bag.
