  1. Airports Authority Announcement -Operation “Lion’s Roar” Regarding Ben Gurion Airport Parking Facilities

    For the information of the general public,

    Passengers who parked their vehicles in Ben Gurion Airport parking facilities on 28 February 2026 or earlier will be exempt from parking fees from 28 February 2026 until further notice.

    The Airports Authority will continue to provide updates as required.

     

  2. Completion of Aircraft Evacuation from Ben Gurion International Airport

    The Ministry of Transport and Road Safety and the Airports Authority announce that, as part of a pre-planned operation, the evacuation of aircraft from Ben Gurion International Airport has been completed as of this time.

    The operation was carried out in accordance with the directives of Minister of Transport and Road Safety, Miri Regev, and in full coordination with all professional and security authorities, as part of a system-wide early preparedness plan for emergency situations.

  3. Airports Authority Spokesperson Announcement - Land Border Crossings

    For the information of the general public,

    • Begin Crossing (Taba) is open for operation 24 hours a day.

    • Rabin Crossing is open for passenger entry and exit until 20:00, and for vehicle entry and exit until 19:00.
    If required, operations will be extended to 24/7, as necessary.

    All other land border crossings are currently closed, in accordance with directives from the security authorities, and will be reopened upon receipt of approval from the relevant security authorities.

    The public is requested to check official announcements and updates prior to arriving at the border crossings.

  4. Airports Authority Announcement - Evacuation of Passengers from Airports

    For the information of the general public,

    As of this time, the evacuation process of passengers from Ben Gurion International Airport and Haifa Airport has been completed.
    There are currently no passengers present at the airports, in accordance with the directives and operational preparations of the professional and security authorities.

    Further updates will be provided as developments occur.

  5. Closure of the Airspace of the State of Israel to Civil Aviation

    For the information of the general public,

    Following recent security developments, the Minister of Transport and Road Safety, a member of the Security Cabinet, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Miri Regev, has instructed the Director of the Civil Aviation Authority to close the airspace of the State of Israel to civil flights.

    The public is requested not to arrive at airports until further notice.

    Passengers currently abroad are advised to follow updates via the media and through their respective airlines regarding flight schedules once the airspace is reopened.

    Passengers are requested to demonstrate patience, remain vigilant, and act in accordance with the directives of the Home Front Command.

    Passengers abroad are also requested to act in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the National Security Council.

     

    As soon as the security situation permits, the airspace will be reopened and flights to and from Israel will resume.

    An official announcement to this effect will be issued 24 hours in advance.

    Due to the current security situation, all flights at Ben Gurion International Airport and within the airspace of the State of Israel are cancelled until further notice.

    Aircraft already en route have been diverted to alternate airports.

    For up-to-date information regarding arrivals and departures, passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines.

    Access to and Exit from the Airport

    • As a general rule, the public is requested not to arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport.
    • Arrival at the airport is permitted solely for the purpose of collecting passengers whose flights have landed or whose departures were cancelled.
    • Passengers and visitors currently at the airport are requested to evacuate the terminal area using public transportation (designated buses) or with the assistance of relatives collecting them.
    • Passengers whose vehicles are parked in the public parking facilities will be permitted to exit with their vehicles free of charge.
    • Shuttle services will be available at Gate 32 to transport passengers to remote parking areas and between terminals within the airport.

    Passenger Baggage

    At the initial stage, passenger baggage will remain at Ben Gurion Airport.

    Baggage will be secured in designated, access-restricted baggage holding areas located within the airport’s operational zone.

    Baggage will be stored according to flight numbers and airline operators.

    Once the security situation permits, baggage will be returned to passengers by airline representatives at Ben Gurion Airport.

    Passengers are advised to contact their airline directly for information regarding flights and landings.

    The public is requested to rely exclusively on official information published by professional authorities and through the official channels of the Airports Authority.

    Unverified information may be misleading, cause unnecessary confusion, and increase public anxiety.

  7. Joint Announcement by the Ministry of Transport and the Airports Authority

    For the information of the general public,

    In accordance with the directive of the Minister of Transport and Road Safety, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Miri Regev, and following operational preparations carried out by the professional authorities of the Airports Authority at Ben Gurion International Airport and Haifa Airport, professional teams are currently conducting the relocation of the Israeli airlines’ aircraft fleet outside the State of Israel, in full coordination with the relevant security authorities.

    It is emphasized that this operation involves aircraft repositioning flights with no passengers on board.

    It is further noted that the evacuation of aircraft from Haifa Airport has been completed. At this stage, operations to relocate aircraft from Ben Gurion International Airport are ongoing.

  8. Israel Airports Authority Notice – Provision of Valet Parking Services Contrary to Regulations

     

    Provision of Valet Parking Services at Ben Gurion Airport Without Authorization

     

    The Israel Airports Authority wishes to inform the traveling public that valet parking services — including vehicle pick-up and drop-off — are not provided at Ben Gurion Airport

     

    Any company offering or providing such services is doing so illegally and without the approval of the Israel Airports Authority

     

    Recently, there has been an increase in complaints from passengers who purchased these unauthorized services, reporting damages caused to them or their vehicles

     

    In light of this, the Israel Airports Authority urges passengers not to engage with individuals or companies offering valet parking services, which are rendered unlawfully and may result in serious consequenc

     

    The Authority continues to take all available administrative and legal measures to eradicate this unauthorized activity and to protect the interests and safety of the traveling public.
