Security Guidelines
Security Instructions:
- All passengers departing from Haifa Airport are required to undergo a security screening by a security officer.
- During the security screening, the passenger will be asked questions related to flight security.
- The passenger must undergo a body and carry-on baggage screening, after which they will be directed to the airline’s check-in counter. This sector utilizes advanced technological means to enable passengers to undergo a quick and efficient screening. The passenger must place all equipment they have in their containers and pockets in a designated box and place the box in the X-ray machine.
- In addition, the passenger must pass through a metal detector and follow the instructions of the security officer.
Domestic Flight Security Screening:
Passengers must arrive at the airport an hour and a half before departure.
Passengers must present one of the following identification documents:
- Israeli ID card
- Israeli driver’s license
- Military ID (magnetic card)
- Police officer ID (excluding volunteers)
- Passport/travel document
- ALPHA card
* The identification document must be valid.
* Children under 16 must present a photocopy of their parent’s ID card with a stub.
International Flight Security Screening:
Passengers must arrive at the airport two hours before departure.
For international flights, passengers must present a valid passport and a flight ticket or boarding pass from advance booking at the security screening.
