Terms of Use of the IAA Website

Welcome to the Israel Airports Authority Website (hereinafter: "The Website"). Your surfing and use of the Website are subject to the Terms of Use specified below; we therefore request that you read them thoroughly.

General

  • The Website is managed and operated by the Israel Airports Authority (hereinafter: "The Authority") and/or any person acting on its behalf. Please make sure that you review these Terms of Use and receive the updates thereto, as the mere use by any person and/or entity who surfs and/or watches the Website and/or uses, directly or indirectly, of the Website in any other way, including any content and/or service contained therein (hereinafter: ("The User"), constitute a consent by that person or entity to the Terms of Use of the Website, including the Privacy Policy , as these may be updated from time to time (hereinafter: "Terms of Use" or "Privacy Policy", as applicable), with no limitation or reservation. Should you not consent to the contents of the Terms of Use, including the Privacy Policy, you are requested not to use the Website.
  • The Terms of Use on this Website are provided in the masculine gender for convenience purposes only, and any part of these Terms of Use, in which the masculine gender is used, applies implicitly to the feminine gender as well.
  • The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy regulate the legal relationships between the Authority and any user and may change from time to time, at the Authority's sole and exclusive discretion, and shall constitute the legal basis for any deliberations between yourself and the Authority. It shall be emphasized, that any person who performs any action on the Website declares thereby that he is aware of and accepts the Terms of Use, and neither he, nor any person operating on his behalf, shall have any claim and/or demand against the owners and/or operators of the Website and/or any person operating on their behalf, with the exception of claims concerning a breach of an obligation by the owners and/or operators of the Website under these Terms of Use.
  • The headlines of the sections in these Terms of Use are provided solely for the purpose of the user's convenience and orientation, and shall not be used for the interpretation thereof.
  • The Authority shall not be held responsible for the Website's suitability to the user's needs.
  • The Authority shall also not be held responsible for mistakes or errors in the material displayed on the Website.
  • The Authority shall not be held responsible for changes made to the material displayed on the Website by the user or any third party.
  • Without derogating from the provisions of paragraph 1.5 above, the Authority and/or and any person operating on its behalf, shall not be held responsible to any contents on the Website (and any end device on which they appear), including contents contained in software applications downloaded directly through the Website or activated as a result of the use thereof (hereinafter: "Software Applications"), their contents, accuracy, reliability and effect on the users nor for any damage, inconvenience, loss, anguish and any direct and/or indirect consequences, which will be suffered by the user, his property or any third party as a result of the use of the contents of this Website. The Authority shall not be held responsible for any mistake, error, omission, inaccuracy and/or update of the information and/or data published therein, including, but without limitation, changes in flight departure or arrival times, non-adherence to flight schedules and/or flight cancellations etc.
  • The Authority shall also not be held responsible for any damages suffered or expenses incurred as a result of actions or failures as mentioned above.
  • The Authority shall not be held responsible for any damage caused to the user or any third party as a direct or indirect result of the use of the Website, including damage caused by the use of software applications downloaded directly from the Website or activated as a result of the use of the service.
  • Some of the services provided on the Website (and/or the software applications) may require an input of your personal information, such as your name or e-mail address. The Authority may use this information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and under any applicable law.
  • The Authority does not guarantee that the services featured on the Website will not be disturbed, provided in an orderly and uninterrupted manner, maintained safely and free of errors, and be immune against unauthorized access to the Authority's computers or damages, malfunctions, faults or failures in hardware and/or software and/or the communication lines and systems of the Authority and/or and of its suppliers.
  • The Authority may, at its sole and exclusive discretion and with no prior notice, terminate or suspend the operation of the Website or part thereof, to change from time to time the structure and contents of the Website, including the appearance thereof, as well as the character, scope and availability of the services provided therein, and any aspect relating thereto. It shall be made clear, that such changes shall oblige the user for all intents and purposes.
  • Changes as stated above may, by their nature, involve malfunctions and/or inconvenience to the user etc. The user shall have no argument, claim and/or demand against the Authority due to direct and/or indirect and/or incidental damages suffered by the user as a result of the performance of changes as stated above and/or malfunctions occurring thereby.
  • Links to websites of third parties - the Website may offer links, hyper-links or banners for other Websites, and/or other software applications, which are not supervised by the Authority nor examined by it, including in regard to their credibility, legality and their security. Therefore, the Authority shall not be liable in any way whatsoever, for all matters relating to intellectual property rights or any other third party right, pertaining to the content published on these websites and/or applications and/or related to these websites and/or applications. The Authority may, at its sole discretion, remove any link from the Website and/or add further links. The Authority does not warrant that the links to the above-mentioned websites will be operative and lead to active websites and/or applications.
  • Any use of the contents of the Website, including contents provided by the Authority and/or any third party, including any entry by the user of websites and/or software applications of third parties through reference from the Website and/or publications on the Website, shall be at the user's sole responsibility. The user shall have no argument and/or claim against the Authority in regard to the contents of the Website, including contents provided in software applications and/or by third parties as well as the contents of publications, including any direct or indirect damage, as a result from the use and/or entry as stated above and/or reliance on third party content and/or breach of privacy as a result of use as stated above.
  • Official Publications - In case of any detected contradiction or incompatibility between any material published on the Website and material contained in the official publications of the Authority and/or the State of Israel, only the material contained in the official publications shall be deemed correct.
  • The Website displays contents concerning tenders published by and binders involving the Authority. The use made by the user of the content as stated above is subject to the designated Terms of Use of the Authority's tender and binder sites.

Intellectual Property

  • All copyrights and intellectual property on the Website, including, the name, trademarks, Website's design, contents published therein by the Authority or on its behalf, as well as any software, application, computer code, graphic file, text and any other material contained therein (hereinafter: "The Content") - belong solely to the Authority, or to the third party from which the Authority has received authorization.
  • Nothing on the Website or the contents thereof constitutes, expressly or implicitly, a grant of license or right to use the contents contained therein, including any of the trademarks published on the Website's pages, without the Authority's written consent. Any distribution, copying, public display or conveyance to any third party of any part of the contents of the Website without receiving the Authority's prior written consent is strictly forbidden.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use, including the Privacy Policy, shall be subject solely to the laws of the State of Israel. All matters arising out of and in connection with this agreement and/or the Website shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of law in the Tel Aviv and Central Districts, Israel.
