Arranging for an Airline Service Representative 0 results are shown

The Airports Authority is legally obligated to provide the physical infrastructure for service providers to provide services for passengers with disabilities.  According to The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, responsibility toward passengers requiring assistance and for their luggage, from the moment they enter the terminal, or disembark from a plane, falls on the airline the passenger is flying with. Therefore, services at Ramon Airport are provided in practice by ground service (handling) companies. Service includes escort and assistance for assisted passengers during the process. On domestic flights, service is provided by the Arkia and Israir airlines.

To arrange for airline service representatives, you can contact them via the telephone station for assisted passengers, located at the entrance to the Terminal (next to Gate 31.)

Right Hear systems are installed in the Terminal for the use of assisted passengers.

Parking 0 results are shown

Parking at all airport parking lots is free for up to 5 hours for holders of parking passes for people with disabilities that have been authorized by the Ministry of Transportation.
Residents of Eilat and Hevel Eilot who hold parking passes for people with disabilities can park for free for 36 hours free in the public parking lot.
When parking for longer than the first 5 free hours, fees are charged in accordance with the rates at the parking lot where your vehicle is parked.
Payment exemptions for pass holders only on condition that the pass is associated with the vehicle registered under the name of the person with disabilities.
Special cameras have been placed in the exit routes for assisted passengers. If you have a parking pass placed in the designated location, the control room can see the vehicle information in real time and expedite your payment exemption!

Hand luggage screening stations: 0 results are shown

Passengers with a pacemaker - are required to present an official hospital certificate stating the name of the patient, the medical institute in which the implant took place and the date it was performed. Alternatively, passengers may present a certificate from a doctor with the aforementioned information.
Passage through metal detectors for travelers with implants - Passengers with implanted medical devices who are unable go through a metal detector for medical reasons are required to present supporting official medical certification stating the name of the patient, the medical institute in which the implant took place and the date it was performed. Alternatively, passengers may present a certificate from a doctor with the aforementioned information.
Passengers using an airline wheelchair and passengers with a metal prothesis will undergo manual inspection and will not be required to pass a walk-through metal detector.

Attention:
Passengers travelling with personal wheelchairs are not exempt from security checks.

Arriving to the Departure Hall (Duty-Free) 0 results are shown

Passages from the duty-free stores are broad and suited for assisted passengers.

Ramon Airport contains Alpha stands, manual ticketing stands, biometric border control stands, and telephones suited for assisted passengers.

Boarding:
Passengers will be accompanied by an airline representative and will be transported by ambulift to and from the plane.

Passengers can order accessible buses in advance at the Egged counter located outside the Arrivals Hall or by telephone at 03-9143737.

may be ordered through the taxi dispatcher at the front of the terminal, next to Gate 34
