I’m arriving in Israel – Arriving passenger procedure

Options for crossing
- A transport service from the Jordanian terminal to the Israeli terminal (shuttle): transport of passengers from the terminal on the Jordanian side to Israel is done by a Jordanian transport service.
- Crossing with a private vehicle, an organized transport, a two-wheeled vehicle (entry with a motorcycle is allowed).
- Crossing the border with a rented vehicle or a taxi is not permitted.

 Documents required for crossing:
- A passport, valid for at least 6 months.

Documents required for crossing with a vehicle:
- A passport, valid for at least 6 months.
- A driver’s license and a vehicle license registered to the driver’s name. If the driver is not the owner of the vehicle, a notarized power-of-attorney which grants the driver the power of attorney to cross the border with a vehicle that is not under their ownership must be presented.
- For foreign citizens – an international driver’s license and a vehicle license registered to the driver’s name, translated to English.
- If the driver is not the owner of the vehicle, a notarized power-of-attorney, translated to English, which grants the driver the power of attorney to cross the border with a vehicle that is not under their ownership must be presented.

Attention!
For those returning from Jordan with a private vehicle, please make sure you arrive at the terminal up to three hours prior to the end of operation hours, in order to avoid a prolonged wait.

Prohibited items
It is prohibited to bring any weapons and/or ammunition into Israel.

Customs
Bringing goods purchased while departing from Israel at the duty-free shop, or in Jordan, into Israel is permitted pursuant to compliance with customs guidelines specified on signs placed at the terminal).

Ministry of Agriculture
Pursuant to the Ministry of Agriculture’s guidelines, please refrain from bringing in any agricultural produce or food items that are not approved (a full specification of the guidelines is published on signs placed at the terminal).

Conduct at the terminal
Do not leave your personal luggage unattended. Please comply with the instructions of ushers and security staff and listen to the announcements made on the terminal’s PA system.
