The Ben Gurion Airport branch is responsible for the initial absorption of new immigrants immediately upon their arrival.

The branch office issues and supplies new immigrants and immigrant citizens with the following:

• Identity number and identity card
• Registration for a health fund
• Form for opening a bank account
• First payment of the Absorption Basket
• Old-age pension according to eligibility
• Advises eligible new immigrants about their eligibility and the first steps to take at various bodies.

Similarly, the branch provides free transport to the immigrants' first address in Israel.
