The European Union has completely removed all restrictions imposed on the purchase of liquids at the duty-free shops at Ben Gurion Airport: passengers departing on flights to any European country as well as connecting flights to a final destination in Europe or the U.S., may purchase liquids, cosmetics, spirits and alcoholic beverages at the duty-free shops at Ben Gurion Airport, including all kinds of sprays (deodorants etc.) and gels, provided that these items have been packed in a sealed bag.
The removal of the restrictions applies solely to goods containing liquids, sprays and gels that are purchased at the duty-free shops only, and not to any such items located in passengers' baggage or which passengers have brought with them from home.
According to the provisions, passengers arriving from Ben Gurion Airport with duty-free goods packed in sealed bags in accordance with the European standard, may proceed with their purchased duty-free products to their connecting flights.
Passengers flying directly to the U.S. may carry any liquid products purchased at the duty-free shops at Ben Gurion Airport, such as: perfumes, alcohol, liquid cosmetic products, sprays etc., provided that the products have been packed at the duty-free shop at Ben Gurion Airport in a special sealed packaging.
