1.         General

             The Airports Authority (hereinafter: “The Authority”) presents the information through this online service (hereinafter: “The Service”) subject to the following conditions. The term “User” below means any person contacting or communicating with the Service.

2.         Copyright

1.         In accordance with copyright regulations effective in Israel, and in accordance with international conventions, copyright of the material disseminated by the Authority, including that appearing in this service, belongs to the Authority. These copyright rights cover, inter alia, text, pictures, illustrations, maps, sounds, video, graphics and software applications (hereinafter: “Protected Material”), unless specifically stipulated that the copyright belongs to another factor.

2.      The user is permitted to make “fair use” of the protected material, in accordance with the rules laid down by law. Fair use includes reasonable quoting of the protected material. The person quoting must state the source of the quote, whether he is the Ministry or another factor. The user may not distort, adulterate or alter the protected material or carry out any other action that may inherently reduce the value of the protected material, which is liable to affect the honor or good name of the copyright holders therein.

3.      Subject to the copyright laws, the user is forbidden to copy, redistribute, rebroadcast or publish protected material, without the prior written agreement of the Ministry.

3.   Responsibility

a.      The service is presented to the public “as is”.

b.      The Authority will not be held responsible for the adaptation of the service to the requirements of the user. In addition, the Authority will not be held responsible for errors or mistakes in the material presented in the service.

c.      The Authority will not be held responsible for any changes made to the material presented in the service by the user or by any third party.

d.       The Authority will not be held responsible for any damage caused to the user or any third party as a direct or indirect result of the use of the service, including damage caused by the use of the software applications directly downloaded via the service or launched as a result of the use of the service, including active – X, Java Script or Java applications.

4.         Links

a.      There are links in this service to other sites. The instructions below apply to the use of these links, and there is nothing therein to detract from the rest of the instructions of the conditions of use.

b.      The links are there for the convenience of the user.

c.      With respect to links to external sites, the Authority has no control over or rights to the material found in these sites.

d.      The Authority is not responsible for the content of material found in third party sites.

e.      The link to a third party site is not to be interpreted as giving official approval, authorization, recommendation, or preference by the State or the Ministry to those same linked sites, including to documents and any other material found therein, to the site operators or to the products displayed therein.

5.   Confidentiality

             Personal information handed over to the Ministry by means of this service, will remain confidential in accordance with the instructions of the Individual’s Privacy Protection Law 5741 - 1981

6.         Official Publications of the State of Israel

             In the event of a contradiction or inconsistency between the material published in the service and the material appearing in official publications of the State of Israel, only the material appearing in the official publications as stated will be considered as being correct.
