Roles and Structure

The administrative system is headed by a Director General appointed by the Board at the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, and confirmed by the Government.  The Director General is responsible to the Board for implementation of the policies it decides.

The Authority’s activity is executed by means of five divisions, each headed by a Deputy Director General who reports directly to the Director General:  the Economic, Finance & Trade Division, the Administration & Organization Division, the Engineering & Planning Division, the Border Terminals & Domestic Airfields Division, and the Operations Division.
