The Authority acts through the Authority Board of Directors, consisting of 15 members: seven of which are representatives of the public, seven civil servants and the Chairman of the Council. The Chairman of the Israel Airports Authority Board of Directors and its members are appointed by the Transport Minister with the approval of the Government, for a period of 4 years.
