Is it too hot to tour in Sinai

The Sinai Peninsula is a desert, with the exception of the coastal plain.

Sinai is characterized by extreme  temperatures: Very high in summer and low in the winter, high during the day and low at night.

It is recommended to choose the date of the trip in accordance with the desired areas.

 

The “High Mountain” Region

Recommended for touring from spring to fall.

It is very cold in winter and the mountain tops are liable to be covered in snow.

During the summer months temperatures are very high during the day, but pleasant in the evenings.

 

Coastal plain area

Recommended for touring from winter until spring.

In the winter: Pleasant and cool. In the summer: Very hot.
