There are three giant antennae, belonging to the cellular service providers operating in Israel, installed at the Terminal. The antennae enable reception in certain parts of Sinai.

It is recommended to talk from high ground, places near the beach (from where Aqaba can be seen), on in open areas.

Pelephone and Orange cellular phones have reception as far as Nueba.

Cellcom handsets have better reception throughout Sinai. Reception range is as far as Nueba.

Public telephones, operated by means of local telecards, are available at: Nueba, Tarbin, the Dahab village, at the center of St. Catherine's (Santa Katarina), and at Sharm el Sheikh.
