There is no exemption from taxes for anyone returning less than 48 hours after departure.

The following items may be brought in by those staying more than 48 hours at Taba, Sinai or Egypt:

1 bottle of alcohol, per passenger over 17 years of age.

1 carton of cigarettes (10 packs) per passenger over 17 years of age.

Personal items of a value of up to $50, without the possibility of sharing the allowance between a couple or a family.
