Passengers undergo an outbound passenger departure procedure, which includes:

·          Arrival at the Terminal by car, taxi or on foot

·          Security check at the entrance to the Terminal

·          Payment of the transit fee at the Terminal, (if not paid beforehand).

·         Passengers departing for the Taba Hilton area will present the hotel booking to the Duty Manager or to the hostess and will obtain exemption from payment of the fee.

·          Border control

·          Customs [for purposes of declaring goods, if any]

·          Duty Free Shop

·          Departure for Egypt.

Passengers crossing with their own vehicles will undergo the outbound passenger departing by vehicle procedure, which includes:

·          Security check at the entrance to the Terminal

·          Parking the vehicle in designated places and continuing on foot to the Departures Hall

·          Payment of a transit fee at the Terminal, (if not paid beforehand).

·          Passengers departing for the Taba Hilton area, will present the hotel booking to the Duty Manager or to the hostess and will obtain exemption from payment of the transit fee.

·         Translation of the vehicle license (car registration) at the bank branch  (if not done beforehand).

·          Border control

·          Customs [for purposes of declaring goods, if any]

·          Duty Free Shop

·          Departure for Egypt with the vehicle.

Please note: When the drive-through stations are operating, the entire departure procedure takes place while the driver and passengers remain in the vehicle.

Inbound passengers will undergo the arriving passenger procedure, which includes:

·          Initial security check at the entrance to the Terminal

·          Continuation of the security check at the Arrivals Hall.

·          Passport control

·          Customs inspection

·          Exit from the terminal in the direction of Eilat.

Passengers entering Israel in their own vehicles will undergo the passenger arriving in own vehicle procedure, which includes:

·          Arrival at the gates of the Terminal for an initial security check.

·          Passengers undergoing additional security checking will park their vehicles at the Arrivals Hall

·          Passengers exempt from the additional security check,will park their vehicles in accordance with the inspector’s instructions.

·          Border control.

·          Customs inspection.

·          Exit from the terminal.
