Recommendations for importing, exporting and removing goods from storage:

1.      Drivers exiting the Egyptian terminal to export goods must have a passport and the original goods documentation.  An effort should be made to reach the Terminal during the hours of operation, and no later than 12:00.

2.       Exporters and importers should inform the Terminal 72 hours in advance of sending or receiving goods.

3.      Find out the various transportation rates in advance.

4.      It is advisable to note announcements in the media, regarding closure of the terminal during Muslim festivals.
