Freight Conveyance Process

All shipments coming in and going out of the freight terminal are handled by customs agents.

 

 

 

The transfer of goodsis carried out by the following methods:

 Door to door

 Back to back

 Transshipment

 

The method of shipping is determined by the Customs Management and the Freight Terminal Manager, in accordance with the type of goods.

 

1. The Customs Agent submits the paperwork 24 hours in advance to the Customs representative.
2. Authorized goods of all customers are incorporated into the daily work schedule.
3. Publication of the work schedule for the next day – at 16:00.
4. The Customs Agent submits the list of license plate numbers of the Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan to offload the goods, and ensures the timing of the Israeli and Jordanian trucks.
5. Inspection of the goods by Customs.
6. Release of the goods and their loading onto Israeli trucks.

 

1. The Customs Agent submits the paperwork 24 hours in advance to the Customs representative.
2. Authorized goods of all customers are incorporated into the daily work schedule.
3. Publication of the work schedule for the next day – at 16:00.
4. Entry of the trucks to the terminal after Customs inspection, and obtaining authorization to depart for Jordan.
5. Return of the Israeli vehicles on the same day or the next morning, as required.

2. Authorized goods of all customers are incorporated into the daily work schedule.
3. Publication of the work schedule for the next day – at 16:00.
4. The Customs Agent submits the list of license plate numbers of the Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan to load the goods.
5. It is the responsibility of the Customs Agent to ensure the arrival of the Israeli and Jordanian trucks on time.

 

1. The Customs Agent submits the paperwork 24 hours in advance to the Customs representative.
2. Authorized goods of all customers are incorporated into the daily work schedule.
3. Publication of the work schedule for the next day – at 16:00.
4. The Customs Agent submits the list of license plate numbers of the Jordanian trucks arriving from Jordan to offload or load the goods, and ensures the timing of the Israeli and Jordanian trucks.
5. Transfer of the containers from the Jordanian truck to the Israeli truck.
6. Customs authorization.
7. Departure in a escorted convoy to the port – up to 10 trucks or the departure of a single driver authorized from the security aspect by Customs.
