The Jordan River Terminal is a tourist border crossing and a bridge to peace between the countries of Israel and Jordan.
The geographical location of the border crossing benefits both countries and naturally serves as a point of crossing for goods and travelers between the two countries.
The Terminal also serves Jordan as a gateway for the import and export of goods to and from the Haifa and Ashdod seaports.
Since the signing of the peace agreement between the two countries and the opening of the crossing to passenger and freight traffic, a significant increase was registered in passenger traffic and especially in freight traffic, reaching noteworthy peaks.
In the past few years we completed the construction of the Departures Hall, the duty-free shop, and the Arrivals Hall for travelers in private vehicles.
In the near future we will expand the Freight Terminal's area to accommodate the volume of work. In addition, we are building convenient access roads to the Freight Terminal's entrance.
Over the next few years we will continue to develop the Terminal, for the convenience of travelers and other users, aiming to provide them with the highest level of service.
Best wishes,
