The following development works are planned for the Jordan River Terminal:
- Adding 2 motor car inspection pits, in addition to the 2 existing pits.
- Expanding the work area at the Freight Terminal.
- Paving a western access road to the Freight Terminal.
- Altering the junction at the entrance to the Passenger Terminal.
- Moving the main entrance gate to the west, next to the parking lot.
- Paving an access road from the western freight road to the Passenger Terminal.
- Paving a traffic circle for private vehicles that allows access to the parking lot or back to the road to Beit She’an.
- Building a waiting structure for Jordanian drivers at the entrance to the Freight Terminal.
- Designing and constructing shaded entrance gates, including the Border Control area at the Drive-in.
- Constructing a pump station and sewer line to the regional sewage system.
- Placing biometric border control devices in the Arrivals and Departures Halls.
- Introducing a VIP service for the passengers' convenience.
- Planning and moving offices into a permanent structure.
- Moving the dining hall and IDF unit into a permanent structure.
