Is there public transport to the Terminal
 

It is possible to get to the Terminal by shared taxi service from Eilat.

There is no other public transport to the Terminal.

Is it possible to park private vehicles at the Terminal
 

For your convenience, there is a parking lot adjacent to the Terminal.

Is there public transport going through to Jordan
 

At present, no.

Is a bus with passengers authorized to cross over to the Jordanian side
 

A tourist bus can cross over to the Jordanian side, only for the purpose of dropping off passengers.

The bus driver is required to be in possession of a valid passport.

Are there ATMs at the Terminal to withdraw cash
 

There are no ATMs at the Terminal.

Money can be exchanged at the Bank branch at the Terminal.

Under what conditions is it possible to travel with a private vehicle to Jordan
 

As long as the driver is the registered owner of the vehicle, in accordance with the vehicle registration papers, and so long as the vehicle is not attached (that there is no lien on the vehicle).

When the driver is not the owner of the vehicle, a notarized power of attorney, authorizing the driver to take the vehicle to Jordan, must be produced.

Is it possible to purchase duty free goods on the way back from Jordan
 

At present there is no duty free shop at the Israeli Terminal, only at the Jordanian Terminal.

At the Jordanian Terminal it is possible to purchase goods both upon departure and arrival.

It is recommended to obtain relevant information from Customs, as to the amount of the exemption from customs duty and the minimum amount of time to be spent abroad that grants an exemption.

Who is exempt from payment of the Transit
 

          A passenger holding a diplomatic passport or a passport stamped with a diplomatic visa, or a certificate confirming that he is:

 

          A member of the U. N. serving in UNTSO.

 

          A member of the Multinational Forces.

 

         A member of the International Red Cross Organization.

 

          A clerk of the United Nations Refugee Work Agency – UNWRA – who is included in the list authorized by the Foreign Ministry.

 

          A baby under two years of age.

          The public transport bus crew – a driver and a stewardess.

          The driver of a commercial vehicle departing Israel in a commercial vehicle, which he is driving on duty, transporting goods to or from Israel.

          Any person participating in Search and Rescue operations, extending medical assistance to the injured and other humanitarian activities.

         A member of a government delegation, on duty in negotiations between Israel and Jordan who is included in a list authorized by the Foreign Ministry.

How can one get back from the Terminal to Israel
 

There is a taxi rank which provides a taxi service to the town of Eilat as well as to all areas of the country, per a price list.
