The Security Department deals with the securing of the Airport compound and the checking of outbound passengers.

The security of the Airport compound is under the responsibility of the Airports Authority’s security people, and the passenger check is carried out by Arkia security personnel, with Arkia, acting as a subcontractor of the Airports Authority on this subject. The Department operates 24 hours a day.
