The Firefighting and Rescue Dept. at Eilat Airport consists of 23 firefighters, headed by the Firefighting and Rescue Commander. The Department. has three fire engines, an ambulance and firefighting and rescue equipment at its disposal, and is active during the hours of operation of the Airport. The Fire Station is situated alongside the runway and near the parking apron.
