Passenger security handling is a vital link in the chain of services provided to passengers leaving and entering Israel through Ben Gurion International Airport.

The management of the Israel Airports Authority and Ben Gurion International Airport set themselves a goal of improving the quality of security processing service to minority populations, and accordingly have appointed designated liaison officers specifically for ethnic minorities.

The appointed liaison officers are Abu Matir Muhammad, Abu Ganem Salamah and Yossi Maklade. Working  in shifts at Ben Gurion Airport, the three officers coordinate, mediate and assist with security checks, without compromising the necessary security procedures.
