Description of the entrance to the Terminal

At the entrance to the Terminal is the multi level bridge leading to the Terminal.

Levels of the bridge:

Level 3, upper level - for departing passengers

Level 2, middle level -  for public transport

Level G, ground level - for arriving and departing passengers

Level S, lower level - railway station.

On Level 3 (where the Check-In Hall is located), there are 6 lanes

The 3 lanes closest to the Terminal are for private vehicles.

The other 3 lanes are for buses and organized groups.

Signposts along the road will direct you.

 

Travelers arriving by car or by taxi

Departing passengers arriving by taxi will alight on Level 3 of the bridge, at the entrance to the Check-In hall, which is located on Level 3 of the Terminal.

Departing passengers arriving by car will get to the Check In Hall in one of the following two ways:

          They will alight on Level 3, at the entrance to the Check-In Hall, and the driver will continue on his way.

         They will park their cars in one of the parking lots detailed below, and continue from there to the Terminal building.

 

Parking Lots

 

Short Term parking

The short term parking lot is  intended for parking for a few hours and up to one day.

The parking lot is situated at the front of the Terminal.

Signposts along the road will direct you.

 

Arriving at the Terminal:

 

Departing Passengers:

You can reach the Terminal Building from the parking lot via corridors linking  the two buildings. The corridors are equipped with speedwalks, for your convenience.

 

 

Accompanying visitors:

Accompaniers may continue together with the passengers along the corridor. Thereafter, you can continue to the Commercial Center, by following the signposts.

 

Long Term Parking Lot.

The long term parking lot is intended for parking for 24 hours and up.

The long term parking lot is situated alongside Terminal 1 (the old terminal).

Signposts along the access road to the Terminal will direct you.

In the future, a long term parking lot will be constructed at the front of the Terminal building, on Level G of the multilevel road.

 

Getting to the Terminal

From the parking lot, take the internal shuttle bus, which will drop you off on Level 2 of the multilevel road.

 

Travelers arriving by public transport

Travelers arriving by public transport will  alight on Level 2 (the middle leverl) of the multilevel road.

From Level 2 continue, via the corridors, to the Terminal building.

 

Travelers arriving by train

Travelers will alight on Level S, the lower level of the multilevel road.

In the Terminal take the  elevator, escalator or staircase to the Check-In hall on Level 3, or to the Welcomers' Hall on Level G, (if the counters for your flight are located there).

 

 

These processes are carried out, for the majority of passengers, in the Check-In Hall on Level 3.

 

Occasionally, as needed, the security check and check-in of additional airlines are carried out  in the Greeters' Hall on Level G. We recommend that you verify the exact location for these procedures for your specific flight, before arriving at the Airport.

 

Passengers who took advantage of the early check-in service, can go directly to the Border Control Hall, located on the north side of the Buy &  Bye Mall.

 

Departing passengers whose flight check in is  in the Check-In Hall.

The Check-In Hall is located on Level 3 of the Terminal, which can be reached  through entrances 31 - 33

 

The processes carried out in the Hall:

 

          Security Check

 

Go to the security check counter of the airline with which you are flying, by following the signposts.

 

          Flight Check-In

 

After completing  the security check, airline representatives await you at the Check-In counters.

The names of the airlines and flight numbers appear on plasma screens above the counters.

 

For your information:

At each entrance there is an electronic signboard, displaying the location of the counters you need to get to, according to the flight number.

 

There is an Information Counter at the center of the Check-In Hall.

Once you've completed the check-in and dispatched your baggage, you may continue to the Buy & Bye Mall, which is open  also to non-flying visitors.

 

Departing passengers who check in  for their flight in the Greeters' Hall on Level G.

On this floor, there are 19 security check counters.

Passengers who are supposed to check in for their flight  in this Hall, will be informed by:

Their travel agent

A sticker on the flight ticket

The display screens at the airport - indicating G Sector, as the security check area.

The check-in process includes:

 

          Security check

          Flight check-in

          Proceeding to the Check-In Hall and the Buy & Bye Mall, for the continuation of the process.

 

 

Getting to the Greeters' Hall on Level G

Travelers arriving by train, will go up to Level G.

Travelers arriving by public transport, will do down to level G.

Travelers arriving by car or taxi arrive directly at Level G.

Elevators, escalators and staircases connect the various levels.

 

The Buy & Bye mall is located in the Sky Hall on Level 3.

There are six passages leading to the Hall.

In the Sky Hall you may meet up again with your family and friends who accompanied you to the airport.

The Hall is open to the general public.

 

The Hall offers:

          Coffee Shops

         Fashion/clothing shops

          A delicatessen

         A drugstore

 

There is a 12 meter high glass wall at the front of the Hall, through which aircraft landings and takeoffs can be viewed.

Getting to the Sky Hall

Departing passengers - from the Check-In Hall

Other visitors should proceed from the parking structure, via level 1, to the 3rd floor.

At the northern edge of the Hall, passengers and accompaniers part ways.

This is where the final ticket and security checks are carried out, before continuing to the Border Control Hall.

 

 

The outbound passenger Border Control Hall is located on Level 3 of the Terminal.

This Hall includes manned counters for passport control and counters for biometric control.

The passport control stamp or the voucher from the biometric system constitute your exit authorization from the Border Control Hall to the Connector.

 

After going through border control, passengers continue via the Connector to the Rotunda.

For your convenience, the Connector contains speedwalks stretching some 130 meters, as well as a buggy service operated by the airlines, for passengers who have difficulty walking.

Data regarding the Connector

Length of the Connector about 180 meters.

From the Connector, you will emerge at the Rotunda, where the duty free shops are located.
 

The Rotunda complex on Level 1 houses the duty free shops.

 

There are 5 exits around the perimeter of the Rotunda, leading to concourses B, C and D. For your convenience, the Rotunda contains, inter alia:

          A fountain - at the center of the Rotunda.

          Seating areas.

          Coffee Shops.

          Information Counter.

 

The exits from the Rotunda leads to Concourses B, C and D.

The concourse and the boarding gate for your flight are stated on your boarding pass.

Each concourse is linked to 8 boarding bridges

 

For your convenience, there are, in each Concourse:

          A VIP lounge

          A coffee bar

          Duty free shopping counters for last minute purchases.

 

The Concourses are equipped with speedwalks.

 

The stewardesses of the airline with which you are flying will inform you in good time as to the time of boarding.

 

Boarding an aircraft parked at a remote parking slot

Passengers will descend through one of two appropriate concourse gates to the lobby on Level G. Passengers can take the elevator, escalator or staircase.

 

Boarding an aircraft attached to a Jetway

Boarding the aircraft is through a Jetway that connects the aircraft directly with the Terminal building.

At each boarding gate there are seating areas, where you can wait comfortably until boarding is announced.
