Design

The check-in Hall was designed using a combination of Jerusalem stone, glass, stainless steel and daylight streaming in. The design of the Check-In Hall is by SOM Architects of the USA, in collaboration with Ram Karmi/Carmi Architects and Lissar Eldar Architects in Israel.

 

Services

  • Information counter.
  • 4 security check areas.
  • 110 check-in counters, each with modern plasma monitors, which display the flight details.
  • V.I.P. check-in counter.
  • 6 giant screens displaying information on departing flights.
  • 8 elevators and a series of escalators allowing access to each of the levels in the building and to the multi level road and the parking lots.
  • 5 walkways to the Sky Hall, open to passengers and to the general public.
  • A meeting point.
  • Washrooms.
  • Food and drink dispenser.

Area
The Hall is spread over an area of about 10,000 sq. meters

 

Access
From the multi level road, through one of three entrances, marked 31, 32, 33.
